1. Which part of the reading process had been easy when you were completing the reading assignments?
— What I love the most in doing the Reading Process Worksheet (RPW) is the KWL Chart. Through that simple chart, I get to express how I've seen, felt, and visualized while doing the reading process. Even though this is a simple chart, it is a simple representation of the understanding of a reader to the text that they have read. People can reiterate how one can share his personal experiences and views to the text.
2. Which part of the reading process had been difficult when you were completing the reading assignment?
— The only part I find it difficult in doing the Reading Process Worksheet (RPW) is the "Support for the writer's opinion" because it's giving me a hard time on recognizing the writer's opinion in the actual paper. Since the paper mostly contains facts and reliable sources of information, finding the writer's opinion is like a maze since you cannot determine which of the information is a fact and an opinion.
3. How do you think you can make that difficult part of the process easier next time you read?
— Well, personally, I do believe that understanding the text more fluently and vigorously will give me more insight on determining the fact and opinion. Although, some writers already do include their own personaly perspective on a certain article or topic, which saves me more time. Overall, the Reading Process Worksheet opens opportunities to many people especially those who seem to struggle in communication and reading comprehension.
